I am looking forward to drinking one of those and listening to some of this (some more) this last holiday weekend. Prince Rama really was the surprise band of 2011 for me - I just learned of them a couple of weeks ago, and have had two of albums on repeat all week long. Sloppy psychedelic Krishna-vs.-Numan synthy/gothy goodness — or something like that

Whenever I read a mean or missing-the-point review of something I love, I try to go find things that the reviewer has enthusiastically endorsed. I’m usually not surprised to find all those things are shit.
